Sydney is the founder of Tide & Wave Wellness Co., a passion project born from her love of movement, travel, and a life well lived.

A former competitive athlete and coach, Sydney is now a certified Yoga, Pilates, and Barre instructor. Her relationship with movement has changed a lot over the years. After recovering from a spine injury and taking her first, somewhat accidental, solo trip, she discovered yoga and Pilates and experienced movement in a completely different way. Instead of being something to achieve or push through, it became a tool that helped her feel more at home in her body, more confident in her mind, and more capable of experiencing the world.

That shift is at the heart of Sydney's work today. She believes movement should support your life, not take it over. Her goal is to help people feel strong, grounded, and ready for whatever adventure comes next.

Her love of travel started even earlier, when a school exchange to France introduced her to the magic of immersing yourself in a completely different culture. Since then, travel has continued to teach her some of life's biggest lessons: to be curious, to try things that feel a little outside your comfort zone, and to stay open to the possibility of becoming someone you never expected to be.

For Sydney, retreats are about more than visiting a beautiful destination. They are about experiencing it fully, trying something new, meeting people who might become lifelong friends, and seeing what you discover about yourself along the way. She'll always encourage you to say yes to the thing that feels a little scary or a little out of character. After all, she never expected to be where she is today either.
